Position Description Redhorse Corporation is currently seeking a Data Integration Developer with a focus on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will engage directly with customers to participate in the design, development, delivery, and ongoing management of data integrationtransformation solutions that make it possible to apply AIML to high priority missions in the Department of Defense. The initial work location for this position is in the National Capital Region (NCR). There is potential for a relocation of this position during the period of performance to a city outside of the NCR. Role and Responsibilities Work with operational subject-matter experts to understand various DoD data formats, uses, and architectures. Ingest, analyze, transform, and validate data so that it is ready for consumption by AIML pipelines. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and unit testing of integration solutions. Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering or Mathematics required at a minimum Masterrsquos Degree highly preferred 4 years of experience with systemdata integration, development or implementation of enterprise andor cloud software A demonstrated passion for working with data at scale and empowering organizations through data Proficiency in data integrationETL technologies Experience in the big data ecosystem (eg, large scale data analytics using Hadoop, Kafka, Spark) Familiarity with NoSQL architectures and tools (eg, HDFS, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, MongoDB) Proficiency in at least one programming language (eg, Python, R, Java) SQL fluency and experience querying SQL and NoSQL databases using Python, R, or equivalent languages Solid understanding of data modeling best practices Ability to apply statistical and data mining techniques to extract data from image files, text-based files, structured and unstructured data, etc. Knowledge and experience of statistical techniques and concepts (eg, regressions, properties of distributions, statistical tests) Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance up to the Top Secret SCI level Additional Preferred Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials Understanding of a variety of machine learning techniques (eg, clustering, decision tree learning, neural networks) and their real-world advantagesdrawbacks Domain or application expertise in predictive maintenance, logistics, or humanitarian assistance and disaster relief Experience with the Federal government, especially DoD.
