Highlights include A competitive compensation package High quality health care plan Dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage 401(k) Plan with matching contributions and no waiting period SUMMARY The Interface Developer assists in the development and maintenance of inbound data interface processing for all clients for the Guiding Care application (or product).The Senior Interface Developer is responsible for building end to end solutions and understanding of data transformation as it flows through key business processes. This role supports existing EDI transactions (identifying and resolving transactional issues).Additionally, the role will require analyzing and creating specifications for new and existing customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design and Develop ETL transformations and mappings (extracting, transforming and loading data) from a variety of data formats and structures into enterprise-scale databases. Build knowledge of the Company, processes and customers to help with the project development activities related to data integration as a key member of the Interface Team Work closely with the stakeholders to understand customer requirements. Work independently on projects delivering fully automated ETL applications for production use. Leads the processing and maintenance SFTP functionality between client and company for inbound data Follow existing source code management and version control processes for all coding efforts Perform maintenance and enhancements to the EDIsystem and database Perform technical analysis and data mining for EDIreporting requests from internal and external sources Communicate with clients for any issuesenhancements associated with inbound data Analyze, design, develop, test, troubleshoot, optimize, enhance and maintain EDIapplications in various formats that include HIPAA standard formats such as 837 and other proprietary formats Create and maintain interfaces between applications systems and EDItransaction Maintain documentation and process flow of all EDIprocesses Makes recommendations in setting up process standards, policies and procedures in interface design, development, implementation and maintenance. Detail oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and coordinate schedules with others Strong documentation, process, and organizational skills Strong knowledge of software development standards and best practices Troubleshooting and problem solving skills Other work related duties as assigned EDUCATION andor EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Healthcare Management Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field highly preferred 7-10 years of related work experience Experience working with DICOM, X.12, HL7, HIPAA transactions sets, and EDI engines. At least 3 years of experience with SDLC methodologies, best practices standards for creating User Stories, Business Requirements Documents, and Change Requests 3 years experience in EDImapping , development, tools and HIPAAX12 standards 3 years experience with Relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server At least 3 years experience with C developing console applications Excellent communication skills to interact with customers Detail oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and coordinate schedules with others Strong documentation, process, and organizational skills Strong knowledge of software development standards and best practices Troubleshooting and problem solving skills BACKGROUND CHECKSFEDERAL HEALTHCARE PROGRAM EXCLUSION LISTS SCREENING Candidates for this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment background check.
