Overview We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as a Software Developer III ndash BPM within our Information Technology team. Reporting to the Manager of Application Delivery you will provide support for critical business functions through the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of application systems built on Appianrsquos Business Process Management (BPM) software technology. Responsibilities Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Software Developer III ndash BPM will design and implement BPM based solutions using Appian BPM software. Among others, your responsibilities will include the following Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies Oracle, LDAP, Active Directory, and more Drive BPM adoption within USAC by knowledge sharing with other resources to become self-sufficient with building process application in Appian Assist with gathering of functional requirements and provide technical input for technical system requirements Contribute software development expertise to multiple projects and ensure that specifications are met Design, configure, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software applications Follow established software development standards and procedures and contribute towards their improvement Develop complex application features and create technical designs Participate in design and peer reviews Coordinate with departments and users in the support of business applications Represent the IT department in terms of software development expertise in coordination with other departments. Provide technical guidance to junior developers. Act as proxy team lead as needed. Other specific duties as assigned. About You The successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment, and will be crucial for the success of the Information Technology Division. You have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Sorftware Engineering. You have 4 years of experience with the following software, systems and applications JavaJEE. SQL, Web Services. Oracle 10g , My SQL, EDBMS concepts. Application DevelopmentSoftware EngineeringDesign Patterns. Object oriented design and architecture. Web application development. Technical Documentation. Appian development experience. You have analytical and problem solving skills. You have developed andor created new or more effective ideas, approaches, etc. You have developed and executed short-range plansdecisions. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You have the ability to exercise sound judgment across a broad range of circumstances. The following skills are desired You have experience in Appian 17 or similar BPM platform, ERP, CRM and eCommerce. You have prior software development experience, ideally in a Portal, BPM, DM or EAI related setting. You have server architecture experience dealing with high availability environments. You have experience with integration of application software and RDBMS. You have experience with cloud architecture. You have experience with JEE Application Servers and Web Servers ndash Jboss, Apache. You have experience with operating systems ndash Windows, RedHat Linux. You have knowledge of configuration management, release management principles. You have knowledge of application security concepts. You have experience with agile SDLC Scrum preferred. You have knowledge of networking and system engineering concepts. You have experience with PLSQL. You have experience with scripting languages. You have experience with Oracle Access Manager (OAM).
