Participates at all levels in systems analysis, design definition, software development, systems test, implementation, and maintenance. Demonstrates hands-on experience with software automation (eg unit testing, continuous integration). Exercises independent judgment. May supervise subordinate programming staff. Prepares milestones status report and presentations on system concepts. Is expert in one or more programming languages such as J2EE, WebSphere, Oracle, SQL, C , COBOL, CICS, IMS, DB2, MQ, and Cognos. Possesses detailed knowledge of open source frameworks and industry standards. Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems or equivalent work experience in similar work environment.
