Overview PotomacWave is currently seeking experienced Senior Database Developer to support one of our Federal clients in Washington, DC (L'Enfant Plaza)! You'll be part of a team building and maintaining a SQL Server data warehouse for DHS. The candidate will work at the highest technical level of all phases of application programming activities including estimation of effort based on requirements, mock-up and prototype design, performing testing, and the creating of supporting documentation to include commenting code. The candidate shall work with stakeholders during all phases of the development life cycle to identify problems, fix coding errors, and implement requested changes in a timely fashion and conduct routine, on-going communications with the COR. This will include participating in regularly scheduled meetings (in person or by telephone) to provide updates on work in progress, discuss and resolve identified issues, and other matters which may arise during the period of performance Qualifications The candidate shall have 8 years' experience using SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS and SSAS. C experience is a plus. Strong documentation and analytical skills Strong interaction skills including verbal and written communications skills EducationCertifications A bachelorrsquos degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
