This is a hands-on, “Sleeves-rolled up” role and will require a blend of outstanding financial leadership skills. Main Duties & Responsibilities Partner with the CEO and management team, to provide financial leadership, guidance and operational financial support.To be a trusted sounding board, support and business partner to the CEO and to support the delivery of key business development goals, projects as well as ad hoc analysis.Work with operational management to review costs, utilization and operational efficiencies. Recommend and support the implementation of best practices to improve results.Pro-actively provide guidance to keep the company on track to goals and objectives.Active financial driver in the company's bid and quote process.Generate and monitor monthly and yearly budgets, supported by an appropriate level of financial modelling, to enhance planning and measure performance.Guide and plan capital investment activities including ROI and payback through improved performance.To take pro-active, commercially minded responsibility for the financial stewardship, and assist the profitable development, of the company.To perform other such duties related to general management, business development and financial stewardship of the corporation which generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility Knowledge, Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or business administration.CPA, MBA or additional certifications preferred.5+ years in financial positions with a career path of progressively increasing levels of responsibility within a healthcare organization.Able to manage, maintain and develop a finance team.Be a pro-active “do-er”, good communicator and team player.Have the gravitas to earn the respect of, and interact effectively with, senior management both internally and externally.Be well organized and able to self-manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.Be highly IT literate with advanced MS-Excel & other MS Office skills.Experience with healthcare businesses of similar size and scopeExperience with ERP software implementation and maintenance.Experience of payroll management.
