With new growth in the area, we have incredible employment opportunities for: Supervisor Position Summary: Allow for smooth flow of residents into dining room, evenly spread residents among available tables. Supervise staff for proper service techniques and efficiency, check for proper opening and closing duties and sign that the side work has been completed prior to employee departure. Position Responsibilities: Must comply with all ServSafe and HACCP programs and principles Respond to customer concerns in a professional and urgent manner per Guckenheimer policy. Must follow all safety rules and be actively aware and observant in prevention of accidents. Commitment to the service values and ethics per Guckenheimer standard. Greet, smile, make eye contact, and make customers feel welcome. Must acknowledge all residents by name as they enter the dining room. Ensure residents are happy with their meal and service. Supervise the dining room to ensure residents are attended to in an immediate manner minimizing any wait time for a table or service. Supervise all wait persons to equivalent and appropriate workload of the wait person so that service needs of the residents are met, this may require the supervisor to assist in all levels of service from set up, break down, and/or to service to the resident for their meal. Supervision of all side work to ensure completion the Wait Persons. Must follow attendance policy; complete time card or sign out electronically and check out with the manager/supervisor. Check tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction and be able to resolve guest complaints. In absence of the General Manager may serve as Manager on Duty and handle opening or closing procedures. Essential Skills: Ability to describe menu items, preparation, and ingredients to customers. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge and skill in standard professional service techniques. Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with all co-workers, always treating with courtesy and respect. Must act professionally to set example for all others, even when acting in the capacity of a wait person. Must be able to take and organize reservations, use proper phone etiquette, assigning proper seating arrangements as needed. Nonessential Skills: Assisting with food preparation and service in other areas of the kitchen. Assist in setting up and serving catering functions as needed. On occasion you may require performing task other than those listed. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 #. Employee must be able to work on their feet 7.5 hours per day excluding breaks. Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.
