    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:

    GS-15 LEVEL: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience serving in a leadership capacity in the area of tax controversy on major programs, leading organization-wide projects and/or initiatives, making critical decisions that impact an organization or division, and supporting and representing top executive leadership; Experience applying professional engineering and valuation principles and practices that relate to issues pertaining to general (strategic) management, public policy or public administration and to provide top management with analysis of major issues of strategic importance, to develop new approaches and to prepare policy options and action plans; and oral and written communication skills sufficient to develop, persuade and negotiate a wide range of technical and implementation issues.  Extensive experience with quantitative and qualitative techniques to lead analyses of interdisciplinary issues. Experience as an expert advisor and project manager in the engineering disciplines. Act as liaison with professional technical industry organizations.

    The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

    1 position located in Large Business & International (LB&I), Eastern Compliance Practice Area (ECPA), in any of the following locations: Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Fort Worth, TX; Washington, DC; or Grove, IL.

    • File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.
