SCREEN-OUT ELEMENT: Your qualifications will first be evaluated against the prescribed screen out element. Those applicants who appear to possess at least the minimal acceptable qualification requirement are considered for further rating; those who do not are rated ineligible and are eliminated.

Minimum qualifications for trades and labor positions are determined by evaluation of job elements. You must meet at least 2 points on the screen-out element(s) and obtain an average of at least 2 points on all of the job elements in order to be considered qualified for this position.
A written test is not required.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Physical Efforts and Working Conditions:
Incumbent must be in good physical condition. The incumbent will climb ladders and must be able to climb stair towers of greater than 100 feet. Accessing work sites often requires walking more than three miles throughout the day and stepping over objects. Work of this position involves pushing, pulling, or carrying of objects of varying sizes and shapes, weighing up to 75 pounds.Incumbent works in confined areas such as attics, near ceilings, in utility corridors, etc. Incumbent will work from various heights on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding. Duties are performed both inside and outside in weather conditions varying from hot, humid summer heat to below freezing winter temperatures.

Stipulations of Employment:
Selection may require completion of a 1-year probationary period.
This position requires operation of a Government vehicle, therefore, proof of possession of a valid state driver's license is required.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a fixed work schedule; flexible work schedules will not be authorized.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
