This high-end real estate development & investment firm is actively seeking a high-potential, driven Construction Manager to add to the team. This individual must have at least 2 years of experience in a project management-related position with another general contractor or developer, ideally in the DC area. Position will be based in the office in Washington, DC with occasional time spent on job sites, all of which are in DC. DescriptionConstruction Manager Responsibilities Manage relationships and interface on a daily basis with designers, general contractors, architects and company staff on a variety of construction projects.Provide day-to-day management, technical direction, supervision and coordination of construction activities while representing the company's interest in all assigned projects.Support the Development and Leasing departments through the lease process to secure new and existing clients.Prepare bid packages, administer bids and review pricing.Prepare construction contracts.Create and assist in monitoring the general contractor's schedule.Participate in the design process providing budget, schedule and constructability input.Provide leadership and direction between design and construction phases of each project.Interface with permit plans reviewers and inspectors and interact with various City inspectors and City officials as required to achieve Boston Properties objectives.Ensure the quality standards of the Company are maintained by inspecting work in process on a frequent basis.ProfileConstruction Manager Requirements: BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred3+ years' experience project management experience with a General Contractor or Developer Desire to work for a high-end development firmJob OfferHighly competitive salary, bonus & benefits package.
