We are currently looking for a Lead Data Tester to support one of our commercial engagements. This project is in support of an enterprise analytics platform for a customer who provides pharmaceutical services and will be located in Chesterbrook, PA. The Lead Data Tester will be responsible for providing technical team leadership as well as verifying and validating whether solutions meet specified requirements and will be involved in all phases of the solutions development lifecycle. This person will help implement quality assurance objectives and processes, monitor and evaluate testing results against the predetermined objectives, and apply recommended actions for improvements. The Lead Data Tester will work closely with IT leaders to develop and implement a quality maturity roadmap and plan testing for each functional area (performance, solution, and automation). This person will also evaluate and recommend test automation tools and determine the suitability of these tools with various development tools. The Lead Data Tester will also work closely with all members of the project including architects, lead data tester, business analysts, system analysts, and project managers. There will be a background check and drug test required by the client.

Required Skills:
  • Prior experience leading and mentoring testing teams
  • Strong experience with ETL/Report testing
  • Must have senior to expert level SQL skills
  • Must have prior experience working on data warehouses and data lakes as well as in big data environments
  • Ability to use manual and automated testing tools to support and assist the company testing efforts
  • Ability to write automated test scripts, cases, and test plans
  • Demonstrated experience documenting and executing testing policies and standards
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technology, tools and software; SDLC, Desktop services, TFS, Client Test tools, or equivalent testing tools
  • Should have a basic understanding of cloud testing, data factory for ETL, and DevOps best practices
  • Should have Azure/Cloud based knowledge
  • Prior experience working in agile environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve project issues effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to work within the US without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience with automation development using Selenium
  • Experience with Informatica
  • Experience with Microsoft TFS Test Tool
