Summary
This is an entry-level full-time position at any of our DC area locations. The Vendor Liaison (VL) will support the entire purchasing and contracts departments and will report directly to the Procurement Manager and/or Director of Contracts. The VL will interface with current and potential vendors daily. The VL will maintain the vendor rating system, annual vendor updates, enter vendors into purchasing system and enter company FFATA information monthly. Other duties as assigned. A professional "can do" attitude is needed. Great people skills are required.

Required Qualifications
• Experience in MS office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Very good written and oral communications skills are required
• Ability to work in a very fast pace environment is a must
• Well organized and detail-oriented
• Must be self-starter
• Must be able to work alone and as part of a team

Desired Qualifications
• Knowledge of CAS, FAR and DFAR is a plus
• Experience in procurement or manufacturing preferred
• Deltek Costpoint 7 experience and Cognos experience a plus
• Effective and tactful verbal and written communication in English; effective reading and listening skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Customer Service ordinated
