Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing, the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications is responsible for managing corporate communications and Public relations and managing and publishing momentum via blogs and social across the organization. This position will help to ensure that the brand, value proposition, and messaging are effectively and consistently delivered across all communications channels. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: * Develop and build the strategic vision for Public Relations in collaboration with the leadership and marketing teams Working with marketing leadership, manage PR firms, setting goals, managing execution Manage multiple, global PR firms and deliver regular reporting on progress Extend the PR and publishing programs to include international markets, translating materials and creating media opportunities within targeted countries Work with content marketing to conceptualize, create and leverage corporate content to include reports, customer references, videos and other premium assets. Build a compelling social strategy to complement corporate communications goals and integrating lead generation and conversion goals with the Demand Generation team. Build, drive and maintain publishing momentum with 3-5 blog posts per week with internal blogging program while leveraging other team resources to execute. Assist with internal communications programs as needed. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: * Proven skills in the ability to develop sound marketing communication strategies and oversight of tactical implementation required Strong project leadership experience with the ability to communicate with executive level management required Demonstrated ability to drive consensus and alignment across functions required Demonstrated success in managing third party vendors and providers in support of marketing communications initiatives required Ability to manage multiple projects effectively required Must be well organized and detail orientated Must show initiative, flexibility, and creativity Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills required Ability to lead and inspire through trust and respect required Education and/or Experience: * Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline preferred Minimum of Five (5) years of Management and Leadership experience in the Marketing field required Experience managing multiple vendors Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel required 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in Marketing, Communications and PR field preferred Cofense is committed to equal employment opportunity.
