Family-Friendly Environment Management Training Programs President's Club and Employee of the Year Programs Your General Responsibilities As a Host/Hostess Welcome each incoming guest and answer phone calls Maintain waitlist and communicate with management regarding waitlist times Maintain lobby area As a Server Assistant Sanitize all table tops, chairs and booths and reset tables according to Phillips specifications Assist in the set up and break down of banquets and special events Inspect assigned restrooms every 30 minutes. Clean and restock as needed As a Server Have full menu knowledge and be able to cite specific ingredients in each dish Have full knowledge of table numbers, seat numbers and sections of the restaurant Deliver all food items to the correct table in a timely manner Make genuine recommendations of specific beverages, appetizers, entrees and desserts Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter in our POS system. Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment Keep tables clean and well-maintained & complete opening and closing tasks Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement. Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience Do you have what it takes? Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 12 hours) Be able to safely lift and maneuver trays of food weighing up to 40 pounds Be able to bend and reach repetitively Be able to work in fluctuating temperatures Ideally have experience in fine dining Are you ready to connect with our neighbors by providing warm hospitality and attention to detail?
