Specialized Experience: One or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties:
- Perform, supervise, and/or manage administrative work of a fiscal, financial management, accounting, or budgetary nature;
- Planning and carrying out the assignment;
- Direct other functional specialists;
- Resolve most of the conflicts that arise;
- Coordinate the work with others as necessary;
- Interpret policy and regulatory requirements;
- Develop changes to plans and/or methodology; and
- Provide recommendations for improvements in order to meet program objectives.
- Analyze all major financial management and operational aspects of a program.
- Provide information and recommendations supporting realignment of authorities, or major re-allocations of staffing, funds, and other agency resources.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The full performance level of this position is GS-15.
