Electrical Fabrication Technician II ( Dulles, VA ) 89325404 Month ContractPay rate: $35/hr W2 **Top 3: Cable & Harness experience, electronics experience, Aerospace or Aviation experience.Previous resume issues include: Board and Test technicians do not usually have harness experience.Team: Generally broken up into small teams of 2-4 technicians. Mfg Engineering, Planners, quality will all be on the floor to support.**The Cable and Harness Technician uses engineering documentation to manufacture cable / harness products.Responsible for understanding Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems technical standards and requirements as it pertains to the trade skill.Reads and interprets documentation such as Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings.Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.Leads small teams of 2-4 in harness manufacturing efforts. Ensures that team's roadblocks are escalated appropriately.Coordinates with Engineering on best practices and build plans.Qualifications: A High School diploma or General Education degree is required 10+ years of related experience is required. Technical school, training, IPC or J-STD certifications are a plus. Ability to obtain Security Clearance
