As Engineering Maintenance Technician II, your work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities Engineering Operations, under the technical oversight of Mechanical Project Commissioners, and the daily oversight of the Hospital's Engineering Maintenance Technician-III. You understand Building Automation Systems (BAS), Controls, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Electronics, Pneumatics and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) computer applications (PC and network-based), including Windows, departmental e-mail, word processing, database, spreadsheet project management, presentation, maintenance/work order processing and design/drawings You have the ability to prepare recommendations for system improvements, maintenance programs and evaluations. aide the onsite building operations team in the daily trouble-shooting and repairs of mechanical systems, especially the Building Automation System (BAS). diagnose and repair of complex digital systems investigate building systems and document operational data. As a team member, you collaborate with engineers and management in program evaluation and implementation. recommend and participate in departmental engineering operations development (standards, specifications), improvement and implementation. interact professionally with JHM/departmental staff as well as contractors, manufacturers, vendors and consultants. You have A high school diploma or equivalent.
