The MIL Corporation seeks an experienced Senior HR Generalist to support our Corporate Offices, located in Tysons Corner, Virginia, and Bowie, Maryland. MIL also has a WeWork office in Washington, DC, and Rosslyn, VA, in which the Senior HR Generalist may be located at that time. The Senior HR Generalist will complete special HRIS reports and analysis for Senior Management as assigned. They will also be accountable for the overall data integrity of the HRIS system and will also be responsible for a broad variety of HR generalist activities.

  • Compliance Reporting (AAP, EEO-1, VETS 4212, 5500s filing etc.)
  • Lead employee focus groups centered around retention
  • Address and handle employee-related concerns in a collaborative team environment
  • Provide a full range of HR support to assigned partner groups to include a broad range of HR functional areas such as employee relations and performance management
  • Improve HR processes in support of the business to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness and serve as a visible human resources partner to the business

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years of experience
  • 5 years of experience in Federal Government contracting
  • Knowledge of DCAA requirements, FLSA, SCA, DOL, and other federal/state employment laws
  • Ability to travel to the local VA/MD/DC market

Desired Qualifications
  • PHR or SPHR certification
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Experience with Deltek CostPoint, Deltek T&E, ADP WorkforceNow, and Taleo
