Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks an Operations Specialist whose primary duties include providing reconciliation and tracking of contract actions/funding and related invoices, providing expert review of travel documents to ensure conformity with requirements, and review and approval of advance, expense and travel vouchers in Charleston, South Carolina. This position will be for a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily office procedures including verifying accurate employee timesheets, communicating with and coordinating issue resolution with various corporate offices including contracts, accounts payable, payroll, security, HR, recruiting, etc.
  • Provide support for corporate office initiatives and activities in the Southeast Region
  • Provide support to the 15+ management team and 100+ employees
  • Perform miscellaneous other duties such as purchasing, event planning, and tracking employee training status.

Required Qualifications
  • College degree. Relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirements
  • Ability to work at an optimal level in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization, planning, and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient (mid to expert level) in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Accounts Payable
  • Knowledge of Federal Contracting and Task Order monitoring.
