The MIL Corporation seeks a Information Assurance Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, MD location. MIL is approaching problems in cyber security that present unique opportunities to support the defense of our nation's critical infrastructure, support our nation's forces and emergency responders, and advance capabilities of our government, military and private sector clients.

Serve as a team leader for the support of tasking that involves the analysis of the information assurance posture of networks and systems in support of system certification and accreditation. Lead the development of strategy plan for system compliance. Lead the development of system IA documentation to support certification of compliance to applicable standards using the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF). Apply knowledge of Information Security policies and procedures to process and protect DoD classified information. Apply knowledge of policies, regulations, and Executive Orders in the marking, handling, and dissemination of classified material and information and creation and use of Security Classification Guides (SCGs). Apply knowledge of policy, regulations and Executive Orders in the release of U.S. Government information. Develop, participate in, and/or provide Information Security training and awareness.

Required Education
BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a "Relevant Technical Discipline." ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree in a technical discipline or related field and an additional three (3) years of IT experience can be substituted for a BS or BS degree.

Desired Qualifications
At least four (4) years of practical computer security experience in secure network and system design, analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution or implementation of computer/network security mechanisms. At least 1 year of specialized experience working within the DoD RMF.

All applicants for this position must possess an Active Secret clearance and be able to pass a Security Background Investigation and be granted access to classified information; please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.
