TEMPORARY LABORER  

City of Fairfax, VA  Nine month position available in the Public Works Department, Right-of-Ways Division to  performs a variety of unskilled and skilled duties on the Right-of-Ways Crew, mowing, trimming,  and trash pickup.  Performs all other duties as assigned. Requires ability to follow oral instructions  and be in good physical condition.  Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record or  be able to obtain valid license within 90 days.  Must have knowledge of horticultural practices.  Must be at least 18 years of age.  Will be required to walk, stoop, and lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular  basis and work in hot, cold or inclement weather conditions.  Hours are Monday through Friday  6:30 a.m.  – 3:00 p.m.  Salary $13.25 hour/No Fringe Benefits.  Open until filled.  Apply online at
