The position is responsible for maintenance of the facility, equipment, machinery, buildings, landscaping and other facilities. The position performs hand-on maintenance and basic construction, and plans and manages larger projects using outside contractors for facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs. Additionally, the position manages the work of outside contractors for cleaning and landscaping. Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to: Performs basic repairs and fixes to facility and equipment. Performs basic maintenance to HVAC and other machinery. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion. Performs basic construction, electrical and plumbing work. Gathers bids and manages work of outside contractors for larger construction and installation projects. Initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of plant equipment. Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment. Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of facility. Manage department priorities. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field Minimum 2 years of experience in holding a supervisory position directing a multifunctional maintenance staff. Hands-on experience in construction, plumbing and electrical work. Experience with servicing and repairing CNC equipment, a plus. Specialized Knowledge and Skills: ESH & ISO process experience. Strong Rotating equipment product knowledge. Read complex drawings/diagrams. Capable of leading all machine shop procedures. Demonstrated experience in performance management of direct reports.
