The successful applicant will directly support the Commander, Deputy Commander and divisional senior leaders at site. The applicant must provide high confidence value-added judgment, impeccable written and oral skills, exceptional technical expertise, insightful guidance and counsel, continuity of knowledge, and advice to all levels of government management from junior through senior leadership at site and at headquarters locations. Job Responsibilities: Highly skilled and poised in interacting with senior leadership and executives both at site and headquarters locations. Well-developed knowledge base in systems engineering, financial, contracts, IT systems, support organizations and operations. Assess issues of interest to the Commander at site and present unbiased findings, analysis, and recommendations Can provide strategic level guidance, insight and counsel when requested. Establish, maintain and grow strong relationships with site divisions' senior leadership Develop documents and briefings to clearly and succinctly communicate issues and provide actionable recommendations as appropriate Ability to readily interact with other industry partners at site at all levels of leadership Highly skilled at quickly assessing issues and providing insightful recommendations to the Commander or Deputy Commander Must be self-motivated with exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills Able to understand and convert vision of the Commander, Deputy Commander or divisional leads into an actionable and executable plan Can innovate in creating marketing campaigns that highlight and showcase the vision of the Commander, Deputy Commander Able to generate finished strategic or tactical products for the Commander, Deputy Commander based on minimal guidance *ICAF* Qualifications Clearance required to start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance able to maintain: TS/SCI with Polygraph TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Engineering or scientific Bachelor's degree, typically with 14 years of experience or equivalent relevant experience in systems engineering environments Highly developed organizational skills Demonstrated self-starter (leader) with innovative and highly motivated traits Familiarity with Systems Engineering fundamentals Ability to work across multiple and different contract teams in providing deliverables to government leadership Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously Ability to work independently and with a team to meet customer requirements Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements/environment Demonstrated strong, technical leadership encompassing evaluation and recommendation of courses of action on strategic activities impacting the site be it policy, engineering, personnel, financial, contract, support or operations. Exceptional verbal and written communicator; confident in presenting and explaining recommendations and analyses to all levels of seniority Ability to operate effectively with contractor, SETA, FFRDC, and Government teammates Expert user in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, Project, SharePoint) *Active TS/SCI with current Polygraph Desired: Masters preferred and 12 years of experience Direct and current experience with Directorates.
