FOR APPLICATION AT THE GS-07 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing work requiring the application of an extensive body transportation regulations, methods and practices to perform a wide variety of interrelated or nonstandard transportation support assignments and resolving a wide range of problems/issues related to the movement and storage of personal property. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Experience performing a wide range of personal property shipment management functions including household goods entitlements, personal property counseling, inbound and outbound shipment management, temporary storage and non-temporary storage; 2) Experience determining and advising on entitlements or procedures related to the type of quantity of personal property that can be moved at government expense, storage entitlements, mover's liabilities and prohibited items; and 3) Serve as point of contact resolving problems and ensuring that the work of Transportation Providers.

FOR APPLICATION AT THE GS-06 LEVEL: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing work requiring the application of transportation regulations, methods and practices to perform interrelated or nonstandard transportation support assignments and assist in resolving problems/issues related to the movement and storage of personal property. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Review orders and determine the extent of entitlements and eligibility for the shipment; 2) Explain shipment and storage options, excess costs, special procedures for shipments under various types of orders; and 3) Assist in performing a wide range of personal property shipment management functions including household goods entitlements, personal property counseling, inbound and outbound shipment management, temporary storage and non-temporary storage.
