  • Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower band, equivalent to the PE-I, PT-I, AC-III or GS-11 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience as supporting organizational programs through research and analysis; identifying and resolving problems impacting program objectives; presenting findings through written reports and/or presentations; and/or serving as a liaison that represents/manages a comprehensive program or project.  

    There is no education requirement for this position.

    This is a bargaining unit position.

    Based on the staffing needs, additional selections may be made through this vacancy announcement.

    Selectee may be required to file a Financial Disclosure Statement.

    Travel and relocation expenses will not be paid for by the GAO.

    • Knowledge of program management and support methods necessary to provide technical and administrative guidance.
    • Ability to communication information effectively orally and in writing by preparing materials and presenting briefings that are appropriate to the audience and conveys the message in a logical and persuasive manner.
    • Knowledge of organizational and project management concepts that are used to manage agency initiatives.
    • Skill in analyzing data and evaluating operational procedures to enhance program operations.
