The GS-14 salary range starts at $114,590.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
You will be evaluated on the questions you answer during the application process, which will measure your overall possession of the following competencies or knowledge, skills, and abilities. Your responses to these questions must be supported by your resume or your score may be lowered.
- Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods plus a thorough understanding of data analytics to select and apply appropriate program evaluation and measurement techniques in measuring and evaluating program accomplishments/effectiveness.
- Skill in data management, and use and integration of the latest analytics tools for data storage, transformation, data mining and analysis, and visualization.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in written form in order to formulate and present findings, briefings, project papers, status reports, and correspondence to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
- Knowledge of and ability to use efficient and cost-effective approaches to integrate data analytics technology into the workplace and improve program effectiveness. Develops strategies using new technology to enhance decision making. Understands the impact of technological change on the organization.
- Skill in oral communications to present sensitive recommendations to higher authority, to obtain compliance with policies from activities nationwide, to articulate positions/policy of vast technical complexity and to represent the agency on task forces.
