Energy Research and Development Project Management Analyst

Key Role:
Provide project management support to a federal energy client for research and development programs. Work with a project team to support all aspects of the project life cycle, including project initiation, solicitation, and procurement, monitor project performance against awarded, cost, schedule, and milestones, prepare written reports and briefs to illustrate project status and accomplishments, and coordinate and support meetings and conferences held within the US. Work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality output on time and within budget. Work directly with the client to assist with developing and executing research and development projects successfully. Assist with the implementation of operational policies and procedures, draft memoranda, and participate in various projects. This position is located in Washington, DC.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with program and project support for government or R&D-type organizations
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to exhibit flexibility and adaptability and be team-oriented
-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
