DevOps Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Apply expertise in specific operating systems and Cloud services to working on an organization's Cloud platform to create and optimize all the various functions needed to establish an excellent Cloud infrastructure. Maintain responsibility for deployment in Cloud environments, including public Cloud, private Cloud, and hybrid Cloud using automated DevOps pipelines. Be cognizant of why something is being built and who it is being built for. Think out of the box and develop creative solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience in a professional work environment
-3+ years of experience with one or more of the following: Linux, C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Go, or scripting in Shell or PowerShell and Perl
-Experience with Cloud technologies
-Knowledge of PaaS or CaaS solutions or technologies, including Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, Mesosphere, and Docker Data Center
-Knowledge of alerts and monitoring tools and system management tools for environments and configuration management and Cloud orchestration tools, including Ansible, Chef, Puppet, AWS, Cloudformation, Terraform, and Salt
-Knowledge of containers, including LXC and Docker and Amazon AWS services and APIs, including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM or Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud services
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems
-Experience with running Web services at scale
-Possession of excellent troubleshooting skills, including code, systems, and network
