The Receiver/Receiver receives deliveries and verifies shipping documents and contents to purchase order data utilizing automated receiving solution or MMIS system. Immediately communicates with the corresponding buyer any discrepancies for resolution. Administers the distribution of packages to the appropriate department and obtains verification of delivery. Maintains staging and warehouse areas. Fills in as needed for stockroom clerk. Will assist Materials Manager with receipt exceptions in MMIS.

Duties

•\tAccurately receives all shipments and deliveries
•\tCommunicates discrepancies to purchasing and supervisor
•\tOwnership of receiving dock
•\tIdentifies, picks, and distributes inventoried stock items to maintain par levels for assigned departments.
•\tRestocks floors, fills orders, and responds to special requests for supplies.
•\tKnows where all items are kept in the Storeroom.
•\tInteracts with external and internal customers for supply needs.
•\tContacts vendors for delivery verification
•\tAssumes responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
•\tEnsures supplies delivered in timely and accurate manner.
•\tWorks receipt and invoice discrepancies

Requirements

• High school diploma
