Commercial Carpenter-Commercial Door Hardware Installer

This is an exclusively hands-on position working at construction sites as directed. We seek candidates with the following skills:

• Install commercial door hardware
• Frame walls, windows and sills, doors and partitions
• Install backup blocking
• Hang doors and windows
• Install counters, shelving and cabinets as well as miscellaneous fixtures and finishes
• Perform punch-out responsibilities
• Mentor junior carpenters and interns through guidance on proper project skills
• Use active listening skills while taking direction for tasks to perform
• Effectively communicate status and issues with Foreman

General Requirements:

• 3-5 yrs commercial construction experience in carpentry or millwork
• Need own transportation & tools - Job sites located in DC, VA and MD
• Exhibit reliability and team-player qualities
• Follow OSHA safety standards with interest in additional safety training
