We are looking for a Client Executive to expand and grow our Civilian and Homeland Business Unit with a particular focus on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The successful candidate will be able to conduct research, manage, identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities. Candidate must also be able to develop account strategies, establish customer contacts, support proposals process, and conduct marketing presentations.. You're a great fit if You have a knack for business and technical vision, pride yourself on disciplined strategic thinking and have an eye for analytical presentation and problem solving skills.. You have the ability to gain internal support; and the ability to establish and maintain a solid working relationship and collaboration between sales, capture, and technical teams.. You'll love our company if (This is the stuff you MUST have to be a fit). You have proven relationships and experience working and within DHS. You have 5 or more years of experience with leadership, teamwork, managing multiple business development efforts and crafting winning proposals. You have experience with government procurement, federal contracts, federal contract regulations and procedures, and operations and maintenance services.. You have experience with problem solving and research on emerging technologies to successfully meet client requirements.. You have proven experience with completing and leading presentations both individually and within a team.. You have 5 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite.. What your day will look like:. You'll proactively identify new business opportunities within Homeland Security market and qualifies opportunities in alignment with MetroStar's practice areas and solutions to increase the firm's revenues and profits.. You'll support capture and leverage our customer relationship management (CRM) system to identify and communicate accurate and predictable metrics in pursuit with executive team.. You'll develop relationships with GS-13 and above level in Civilian Federal Government including but not limited to: Department of Homeland Security- DHS HQ, CBP, USCIS, ICE and other components.. You'll be responsible for analyzing the market and research public domain materials to develop leads, contacts, recommend opportunities for pursuit and develop capture plans.. You'll actively participate in industry groups, conferences and networking events to represent and promote the company's capabilities.. You'll support new business proposals, and responses to requests for proposal (RFPs) as well as requests for information (RFIs).. You'll manage weekly reporting and analysis of the business development pipeline, including development of company business development presentations as required.. You'll develop and maintain working relationships with similar and/or complementary companies to include teaming and partnership discussions.. You'll develop a sales/account plan to provide market overview and sales/marketing strategy for achieving Civilian sales target and build appropriate pipelines to achieve organizational sales targets..
