POSITION SUMMARY: Under Armour is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead product for our Women's Train category. The Senior Director of Product will be play a key role in helping to create the products that define this strategic growth category. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Leads the Design, Product Development, Commercialization and Sourcing process to ensure product is built in accordance with line architecture and solving athlete needs. *Ensures Brand Vision and Category Strategy are being articulated through product pipeline and innovation launches. *Partners with design to develop a roadmap and seasonal perspective on trend. *Sharpens and sustains a deep understanding of the athlete, integrating insights to anticipate and solve their problems with world-class product execution. *Is an expert on the competitive landscape and elevates our position in the market place: Expert on latest innovations, materials, fabrication methods, and colors. *Partners with Category Merchant on creation of design brief, with final accountability for the brief. *Partners with Innovation to develop technology platforms and drives integration into the product line. *Accountable for Global Revenue, SKU Productivity, House Margin and partnership with Product Development and Sourcing for cost engineering QUALIFICATIONS: *A proven track record of building strong teams with great results. History of attracting great talent. A best-in-class approach to building and delivering product. *Dynamic leader and influencer who can thrive and rise in a rapidly changing, matrixed environment. *Smart, creative, compelling, driven. Not afraid to lead others past their comfort zone(s). Creates a sense of urgency. *Ability to listen, discern and respect the beliefs of team mates. *Ability to manage a calendar inclusive of multiple product life cycles. *Works cross functionally with internal partners to achieve seasonal milestones and targets. *Has a strong opinion on the brand, category positioning and the needs of the female consumer. *An undeniable fit with our cultural values and work ethic. *Able to understand global markets and accommodate different cultural perspectives in decision-making EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: *Degree in Business Management, Textiles, or Apparel preferred. *10+ years of product development in the performance apparel space. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: *International development travel required as needed on seasonal basis.
