We are looking for a Director of Human Resources to help lead efforts in our rapidly growing construction company. The Director of Human Resources will play a vital role in finding and hiring the people who align with our company goals and culture. You will have the opportunity to define and drive the strategic direction of our hiring teams as the company grows to meet our business demands. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree - Human Resource Management 3-5+ years of experience in HR Previous HR experience in the construction industry or closely related - preferred SKILLS: Effective verbal/written communication; the ability to communicate with employees at all levels of our organization Strong critical thinking and organizational skills Strong experience in performance and change management Self-motivated; able to work independently with an understanding of when to escalate issues to executive leadership Strong sense of accountability, ownership and a proactive approach Confidence in handling ambiguity, impeccable judgement and a sense of pragmatism Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook Responsibilities Develop and manage our company's recruiting efforts while collaboratively working with our division leads and management team Define consistent data-driven hiring metrics and goals Passionately drive results by thinking and acting quickly to ensure the long-term best interest of company objectives Provide frontline support to manager, directors and executive leadership in all area of culture, employee relations, including coaching development and policy compliance. Responsible for the development and management of talent development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits programs.
