Part-Time Customer Service Rep:
Maintain an efficient operation at the Front Desk and File Room. Responsibly controls documentation of patient records, obtaining additional information when required assuring appropriateness of orders. Consistently and accurately maintains knowledge of duties of operations, departmental policies and procedures. Greets patients and physicians when they arrive in the department and exhibits a pleasant personality at all time. Listens attentively to all staff and visitors to ensure proper direction of needs. Generates all outpatient orders for Radiology procedures in a timely manner. Collects and compiles all documents pertaining to patient orders/exams, using appropriate computer skills in placing such orders to assure accuracy for patient safety. Once orders are placed assuring proper routing of
exam orders in the department. Responsible for releasing films and/or reports to patients, attorneys, and physicians when presented with the proper documentation/identification. Maintains knowledge of security and patient confidentiality issues regarding the reading of reports via the telephone. Constantly and accurately follows the policy when releasing reports, CDs and films.

Qualified candidates will possess:
•\tHigh School or GED
•\tType 45 wpm
•\tExperience in clerical work
•\tExtremely pleasant and tactful when dealing with people
•\tComfortable with medical terminology
•\tStrong communication skills
•\tAble to handle a multi-task environment
•\tStrong computer skills
Work Schedule:

Part-Time, as needed. Evening hours
