Per Diem Chaplain:
Offers spiritual, emotional, social and religious therapeutic interventions and serve as a resource to patients and their families, visitors, staff and volunteers; facilitate communication between patients and their faith communities; serve as part of the clinical team, participating in clinical rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings; conduct religious services (worships, weddings, memorial services, funerals and communion) and celebrations for all faith traditions.
Qualified candidates will possess:
•\tMasters degree in theological training preferred
•\tClinical Pastoral Education (CPE) 1 unit required, 2 units preferred
•\tOrdained/Commissioned ministerial credentials preferred but not required
•\tMinimum of 1 year in ministry in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated effectiveness
•\tA combination of experience and education may be considered
Night shift, Part-time, as needed. Typically covers up to four-hours between 10 pm and 7 am.
