  • Applicants selected for employment will be required to complete an OF-306
  • Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the private sector processing inquiries or request for information pertaining to the Freedom of Information/Privacy Act (FOIA/PA), or other disclosure processes. Examples may include interpreting and applying FOIA/PA related laws, regulations, policies, and guidance to provide access to Federal agency records and information; developing agency’s policy and procedures with regard to compliance with FOIA; and developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures.

    All qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement closing date.

    You may start at GS-11 with an annual salary of $68,036.00 if you meet the above minimum qualification requirements.

    Education is not required for this position, but applicants may qualify based on experience; education; or a combination of both.     Education- Any of the following:

    A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;

    3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;

    or an LL.M. in a related field.

    COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.

    2.  skill in conducting research involving the collection of electronic records related to disclosure and privacy programs
