Specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the private sector processing inquiries or request for information pertaining to the Freedom of Information/Privacy Act (FOIA/PA), or other disclosure processes. Examples may include interpreting and applying FOIA/PA related laws, regulations, policies, and guidance to provide access to Federal agency records and information; developing agency’s policy and procedures with regard to compliance with FOIA; and developing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies and procedures.
All qualification requirements must be met within 30 days of the announcement closing date.
You may start at GS-11 with an annual salary of $68,036.00 if you meet the above minimum qualification requirements.
Education is not required for this position, but applicants may qualify based on experience; education; or a combination of both. Education- Any of the following:
A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;
or an LL.M. in a related field.
