Customer Service Manager
Government Scientific Source Inc., (GSS) an innovative veteran-owned small-business supplier of laboratory products and equipment to the federal government, is seeking an experienced, resourceful, self-directed, energetic Customer Service Manager to build out and maintain a customer support program based on industry leading best practices.
Job Duties (including but not limited to):
Manage a team of customer service/account management representatives who are the first point of contact for our customers.
Provide continuous training, coaching, and feedback to the team.
Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure programs and projects meet organizational goals and requirements.
Assign duties and review work.
Implement department procedures to expedite workflow.
Develop, track, and report key performance metrics for the unit to the VP of Sales.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Oversee cross training within the department.
Build and implement processes that measure customer satisfaction.
Five years of customer service and management experience.
Bachelor’s degree, project management experience, and/or automated workflow experience is a plus.
