American University’s School of Public Affairs is seeking applications for a Professor-of-Practice. We are especially interested in applicants who have had substantial high-level management or policy experience in government, international organizations, not-for-profits, or business. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a talent for and interest in teaching and mentoring students. We are particularly interested in practitioners who can help us develop new educational programs, facilitate new partnerships, and raise the visibility of the School. This is a non-tenure track position with the title of Professor-of-Practice. The start date of this appointment is August 1, 2019 and the initial appointment is for 13 months.
