Director of Finance Location: Vancouver, Washington Type: Direct Hire Post Date: 02/27/2019 APPLY Description Job ID: 37263 Director of Finance Our international manufacturing client has a unique product in a booming industry and is searching for a Director of Finance to oversee their financial operations. This is a national industry leader experiencing a great deal of success through acquisition, and organic growth. This role will require a good deal of travel. Responsibilities of the Director of Finance Oversee strategic planning and reporting. Develop, train, and mentor accounting team. Oversee management of finance function. Lead technical accounting efforts. Financial and operational analysis. Monitor legal and risk advisory contracts. Lead the continuous development and implementation of financial ERP system processes, improvements, controls, and best practice. Manage key performance metrics for accounting and financial reporting. Evaluate potential growth initiatives. Long range strategic planning and development. Director of Finance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; active CPA and Big 4 background required. 10-15 years of progressively responsible public accounting experience, including experience in a managerial role. Manufacturing background required. Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS required. Experience analyzing accounting and business trends and reporting those findings along with recommending improvements. Experience with foreign currency and commodity risk management required. Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls. MS Office Suite experience, with advanced skills in Excel and Word. ERP systems knowledge; Dynamics AX a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels of the organization. Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong passion for financial planning and accounting analysis. Self-motivated and driven.
