Summary:. The purpose of the Vice President - Starbucks Brand is to serve as the executive liaison between Starbucks Corporation and HMSHost, with full responsibility to direct resources in support of the partnership relationship, drive continuous operations improvement, negotiate and adhere to contractual obligations, and grow revenue and profitability. This is a senior management position and reports to the EVP-COO.. Essential Functions:. *Maintains great interpersonal relationships with key Starbucks Corporation contacts, and acts as HMSHost's key executive liaison with Starbucks Executives,. *Responsible for developing and executing the Starbucks brand strategy, communication, execution, compliance, conflict resolution, brand integrity and monitors, analyzes and communicates standards and performance for all sales and service metrics.. *Negotiates operation standards policies, work policies, training programs, food, beverage and merchandise controls; ensures all Starbucks communications are distributed to field operations consistently and clearly.. *Monitors, directs and enhances the food/bakery program. Works with Culinary, Restaurant Development, and Supply Chain to ensure all food/bakery products meet desired product specifications and cost levels.. *Resolves brand or company violations in a timely manner through troubleshooting, development of work objectives and action plans in conjunction with the Starbucks Brand Director and Operations.. *Leads the Starbucks Brand Director and brand champion group to improve communication, sales and enhance brand execution.. *Directs marketing opportunities between Starbucks and HMSHost, to include strategy, products and execution.. *In conjunction with the Starbucks Brand Director, operations and other departments, facilitates the communication of top line performance information between Starbucks and HMSHost through quarterly business reviews.. Additional Info. Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:. *Requires a Bachelor's degree or at least 15 years of experience in hospitality management, at least 3 at an executive level. *Requires demonstrated executive presence, expert level negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and strong business acumen. *Require 7+ years of experience managing Starbucks operations. *Requires the ability to travel up to 70% of the time. *Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
