Lead Radiology Tech:
The Lead Diagnostic Technologist has an advanced level of expertise in Diagnostic Radiology. The Lead Technologist is responsible for the daily operation of the Diagnostic Radiology department. Establishes and implements policies and procedures for the Diagnostic Radiology department and ensures compliance. Duties include directing and supervising patient care, staffing, and resource utilization as well as serving as a liaison. Actions and attitude that contributes to the critical success factors of the organization (i.e. Best Place to Work, Most Extraordinary Experience, Superior Outcomes, Financial Success for Reinvestment, A Growing Organization Vital to the Community, and Valued as a Faith-Based Organization)
Qualified candidates will possess:
•\tHigh School Graduate or GED equivalent
•\tGraduate of two-year AMA/JCERT accredited school of radiography
•\tMinimum five years MRI experience, three years supervisory preferred
•\tCardiac MRI experience highly desirable
•\tARRT registered (RT), MRI Registered
•\tARRT Advanced Certification; (QA) preferred
•\tState of Maryland Medical Radiation Technologist License Required
•\tHigh level of Technical aptitude
•\tStrong customer service skills
•\tAbility to work independently and handle a multi task environment
Monday-Friday Day Shift 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM , Some weekend and night time on-call hours as well.
