MONITORING AND EVALUATION SPECIALIST
The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Technical Assistance (OTA) is recruiting an individual on a competitive basis to serve as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist under a personal services contract. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will lead efforts to develop monitoring and evaluation (M&E) policies and practices. This position is responsible for a wide-range of M&E activities, including developing M&E policies and related documentation for technical assistance engagements; developing and managing information systems for program monitoring data; leading the process to gather, assure the quality of, and analyze project monitoring data; providing technical input into evaluation design; and tracking and responding to legislative requirements.
This position requires significant public sector, private sector or non-profit work experience, expert knowledge of monitoring and evaluation standards and practices for foreign assistance, excellent written and oral communication skills; and strong organizational skills. Some travel will be required.
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
These are PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACTOR positions; NOT civil service positions.
