  • To qualify for pay band 2c you must meet the following:
    Have at least one year of specialized experience comparable to the MCC Pay Band 3a or GS-15 or an equivalent level that is directly related to the work of this position and that has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is: experience in the design and implementation of international development projects and programs, and knowledge of international best practices in program management and oversight; experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary teams and to direct and supervise the activities of subordinate staff within a matrix structure; experience collaborating with interagency partners, as well as multilateral development institutions, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations as appropriate; and experience developing, tracking and managing budgets. Note: This experience MUST be well documented on your resume or application.

    Highly Desirable Qualifications: Ability to read, write and speak a foreign language spoken in countries in the EAPLA portfolio (currently El Salvador, Georgia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Timor Leste).
