The Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist:
Assists in scheduling eligibility and family assessments.
Provides family counseling and training to address the social emotional need of children utilizing a family coaching model.
Educates families about MCITP services and obtain background information as needed for assessment report.
Participates in eligibility and family assessments and assist in the development of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Administers social emotional assessment tools, interpret results and write reports.
Conduct clinical observations in homes, child care centers and the community.
Provides service coordination to families and collaborate with other professionals on multidisciplinary teams.
Collaborates with community partners such as Child Welfare Services and Early Head Start regarding support for children and families.
Have the aciliy to work with families from various ethnic and socio-economic groups.
Have the Ability to collaborate with other professionals on multidisciplinary teams.

Qualified Candidates will possess:
Master's degree in social work or related field.
Minimum of two years' experience with children, preferably birth to four years old.
Minimum license of LGSW or LGPC; LCSW or LCPC preferred.
Work Schedule:

This is a 36 hour/week position.
