In order to be eligible for the Pathways Recent Graduates Program, the following qualifications must be met:

- Possess a qualifying associates, bachelor's, master's, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years.

At the GS-05 level, you must meet one of the following qualifications:
A. Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited or pre-accredited college or university. (One year of full-time undergraduate study is defined as 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours); OR
B. At least 3 years of progressively responsible general experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to (1) analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; (2) plan and organize work; and (3) communicate effectively orally and in writing; OR
C. A combination of education and experience as listed above.Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). The duties of this position are suitable for occasional telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval and if they meet the eligibility criterion in the 2010 Telework Act.
Stipulations of Employment:
Appointees must sign a Participant Agreement that sets forth the expectations for the Pathways Program.
The duration of an excepted service appointment in the Pathways Program is a trial period.
For Recent Grads: Appointment under the Recent Graduates Program may not exceed one year. Appointees may be non-competitively converted to the competitive service after successful completion of at least one year of continuous service, in addition to all of the requirements of the Recent Graduates Program.
If converted to a permanent or term appointment, the intended targeted position will be Customer Support Analyst, GS-0301-09. Although the position and FPL may change based on the need of the organization at the time of conversion. Interns must meet the qualification standards for the series and grade of the position to which being converted.
This position requires a fixed work schedule; flexible work schedules will not be authorized.
