Strategic Management Analyst

Key Role:

Work with government organizations to improve the ability to perform core operations and mission support. Analyze an organization's mission from top down and bottom up perspectives and identify core and enabling functions and capabilities. Perform qualitative and quantitative research and data gathering and identify key themes, trends, and opportunities from complex data sets. Capture, synthesize, and summarize key points from interviews, focus groups, and internal meetings, translating insights into draft deliverables and products. Develop creative and innovative solutions to client issues and project approaches. Develop Microsoft PowerPoint briefings and Excel spreadsheets to support project execution and completion. Create competencies in the areas of basic consulting and operational excellence.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-Ability to think conceptually and strategically and learn quickly
-Ability to be a critical thinker, analyst, and active listener
-Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of the management team, multi-task, and work on several projects simultaneously
-Ability to be flexible and adaptable
-Ability to interact and network effectively with all levels of staff, including senior leadership, both internal and on the client site
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and AutoCAD
-Experience with consulting in a professional or internship environment
-Experience in working with managing projects
-Experience with operations center design and improvement, mission analysis, requirements analysis, gap analysis, strategic planning, roadmap development, training, policies, processes and procedures, business process reengineering, organizational development, strategic communications, risk management, or Lean Six Sigma
-Knowledge of project management processes and best practices
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent research, data gathering, and analytical skills
-BA or BS degree in Liberal Arts preferred
