Job Details
Substance Abuse Counselor
Community Connections is seeking Counselors for a collaborative substance abuse treatment project with Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) serving people currently under criminal justice supervision and either living in or stepping down to the community. We use evidence based and promising practices, primarily group therapy. Candidates must be energetic, creative, mission driven individuals who can effectively build therapeutic relationships with clients to support them in their recovery.
Minimum qualifications include:
DC LGSW or LGPC (supervision towards independent clinical licensure is provided) or CAC-I or CAC-II Three years of experience as a counselor in a substance abuse treatment setting Successful completion of the Government's background investigation is a condition of employmentTo apply please send your letter of interest and resume to Jack Kline, LICSW at jkline@ccdc1.org.
