Restaurant General Manager (GM)
Perch is looking for a General Manager for a growing concept located in Richmond, Virginia. The General Manager is the leader of the restaurant and the face of our brand. The GM has overall responsibility for managing the daily operations of the Perch Restaurant and a full restaurant team. The GM will directly report to the partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES -Be a Perch brand ambassador and serve as a role model -Build a high-performing restaurant team to meet the high standards of service and quality of Perch Restaurant -Ensure guest satisfaction for an exigent clientele -Contribute to create a welcoming environment and team working -Maintain respect of the cleanliness, health, hygiene and security procedures -Control the labor and food cost according to the budget -Perform the stock inventories on a monthly basis -Manage the restaurant P&L and assume full ownership and accountability for the financial results of the restaurant -Manage the payroll on a weekly basis -Understand all the HR policies and procedures -Hire and train Perch employees -Perform administrative duties
Qualifications -Graduate of a hotel/restaurant school; a degree or diplomas are highly desirable; -Minimum 10 years of professional experience in progressively higher supervisory position as well as at least 5 years experience in a similar position -IT skills: proficient in emails, Microsoft Office programs -Fluent in French culinary terminology
