Recruitment and Facilities Supervisor
Flagger Force, the industry leader in temporary traffic control, is currently hiring a Recruitment and Facilities Supervisor in our Maryland and Virginia Region. The Recruitment and Facilities Supervisor is a working supervisor responsible for day to day oversight of Flagger Force's Field Recruitment Specialists and Location Supervisors for an assigned region. This position actively conducts interviews, recruitment activities, and onboarding for assigned region at least 60% of the time. Acts as a liaison with Corporate Human Resources. Drives best practice recruitment strategies in collaboration with the Recruitment and Facilities Manager / Recruitment Specialists, while acting in accordance with company values, vision and mission. Job Functions:Ensures effective and productive recruitment processes and procedures in accordance with current expectations.Ensures practices and tools are effectively utilized. Provides staff support and training of best practices for recruitment, onboarding, facility maintenance, and other services.Manage Recruitment Specialists and Location Supervisors including monthly 1v1's, coaching and performance reviews.Oversee schedules of Location Supervisors within region to ensure adequate facility staffing during working hours.Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive organizational culture in assigned region.Responsible for facility oversight in assigned region including but not limited to physical building appearance (interior & exterior), care of office equipment, building security, cleanliness and maintenance.Collaborates with the Local Facilities Teams to identify opportunities for positive vendor relations, networking, recruitment events, relationships with universities, alumni associations, and increased visibility to candidate pools with recommendations for review and approval by the Recruitment and Facilities ManagerCollaborates closely with Flagger Force's Recruitment Leadership and Team Members to ensure consistent application of approved strategies and tactics to build and enhance an active pipeline of qualified candidates through focused recruitment, selection, and closing activities.Optimizes use of Applicant Tracking System to enable best practices, ensure efficiencies, and optimize the candidate experience in the hiring process and onboarding.Travels to Local Facilities and other locations throughout the region on an as needed basis, approximately 20%.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:An Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field required, or equivalent work experience.PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.Minimum of two (2) years prior recruitment experience, with an emphasis on high volume, light industrial candidate pools.Minimum of one (1) year leadership-related experienceStrong working knowledge of HRIS, Excel and Microsoft Office software systems.Excellent judgement and decision-making skills.Ability to communicate (written, verbal and non-verbal) clearly and maintain a consistent professional and positive, upbeat manner.Prior experience conversing with a diverse group of applicants/employees.Exceptional customer service, active listening, and problem-solving skills.Must be proactive and service oriented with keen attention to detail; ability to anticipate needs required.What We Offer:Competitive benefits package including 401k with company match, Medical/Vision/DentalOn-site gymEmployee appreciation eventsGiving back to the communities we serve through paid volunteer time offOn-site professional development opportunitiesAbout Flagger Force Flagger Force is establishing safe work zones throughout the Mid-Atlantic region providing career opportunities to over 1,600 full-time employees.
