Jacobs is looking for a Program Manager. (This position is contingent upon contract award). This position would be worked at either the Beltsville, MD site or Rosslyn VA site. FUNCTION OF POSITION Serves as the Contractors program manager, and shall be the Contractors authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) and Government personnel. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Has responsibility and accountability for the performance of the entire contractor staff (including subcontractors). Assigns appropriately skilled and trained personnel, establishes work schedules, and reviews work discrepancies. Supervises contractor personnel, and communicates policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Formulates and enforces work standards. Performs quality control; ensures contractor performance meets established performance standards. Coordinates all project administrative matters with the COR. Qualifications / Desired Requirements Education and Experience: A Masters Degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or other related management or technical discipline. Four (4) additional years of general experience (as defined below) may be substituted for the Masters degree. General Expertise: 15 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in IT or cyber security program management. Desired Qualification: Active Secret, or higher Clearance required. Work Environment Work is accomplished in offices located in Jacobs and Government facilities and buildings. As necessary, must be able to travel to other work areas, be aware of safety requirements for those areas, and work within those constraints. All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with Company safety standards. Physical Requirements Position involves extended periods of sitting or standing. Physical requirements are: sitting, walking, standing, use of stairs, and access to remote structures. Typically required to lift and hold up to 30 pounds. Position is located on a Government facility; must be able to quickly evacuate buildings in the event of an emergency. Equipment and Machines Computer work required.
